Peices of bone poking out of gum?

You can pull them out or you will be spitting them out soon, the slivers that come out are from the bed of the tooth which held it in place. When a tooth is extracted this cracks to free the tooth and they work their way through the gum. Sometimes if they don't work themselves out, you have to go back to the dentist to have them removed because they will hurt.
