But, I wouldn't worry too much about it... he was calm enough, and as the puppy grows this will be less of an issue. Just make an effort to get them accustomed to each other and set the boundaries with good obedience, and things will probably work out just fine.

Now that I am here on campus I want to get serious about my health so I began my old cardio and weight regiment that I used in the military. I went to my doctor to be examined and was told at this time I have bruising to my bones in my hip and spine and since I have swelling they are going to wait till Friday to do MRI or xrays. This man has done this to many people he compromises they safety of the residents as he went by he pointed at me & laughed as I was on the phone with the management I was standing up by my front steps in front of my vehicle he came by again and nailed me again. I was told he had to go this fast in order to get it cleared. So now I have no cane that I desperately need for my disability and no gles that were brand new. I can not see to drive or 3 feet in front of me with out them Are they liable anyway for my injury. I am now home bound more so from my injury since the pain is so severe and the meds knock me out.

Father was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer last week?

My father was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer last week. I am 5000 miles away which makes things even more difficult. I dont know whether the doctors have told him if it is limited or advanced other than they have said that his health is good in general, that they think it is in his lymph nodes and that his liver is completely clear. He started chemotherapy yesterday will get more today and tomorrow and then 2 weeks off. I have heard no mention of radiotherapy. Is the fact that radiotherapy has not been mentioned a bad sign? I am terrified that i will never see him again. Any advice on how long he is likely to have owuld be appreciated.

The only way is working on your endurance and doing more 400 repeats training your body for endurance. The mile race is really about 60% aerobic and 40% anaerobic so you can improve to under 6 minute pace if you wanted to and probably in the 5 minute range with some serious training. Some sprinters won't be able run well over 400 meters since they specialize and won't train for longer events. If you wanted to be serious you should run XC in the fall do a few 5K races and practice longer intervals such as 400 meters X 8 at mile pace with rests to 120 heart beats or 800 meters X 4 at 2 mile race pace. I am a condo owner, and my pool right are being denied. Where can I get help?

My HOA and a neighboring HOA share a community pool. 9 out of 10 pool committee members, including the pool director, are from the other HOA. The director is a bully and probably has some mental issues. There are several homeowners, including myself, that are not able to obtain pool access. There was a memo sent to all homeowners back in April or May that listed two dates to validate pool pes in person, and instructions for mailing them in for validation. I was unable to go in person so I mailed them to the PO box. According to the memo, I should have received them in two weeks. After 3.5 weeks, I contacted the person in my HOA that was on the pool committee, and she emailed the director asking her to send out my pes right away. After 10 days, and no pool pes, I called her again, and she told me that the director said she never got the pes in the mail. She also told me that others in the community are having the same problem. She said the director said that if we really wanted to use the pool, we should have come in person on the dates listed on the memo, and since we didn't, as far as she is concerned, we didn't have a right to use the pool. She also said that she doesn't want our HOA to have use of the pool. She does not own the pool, and I have pool rights according to my bylaws. If I re-apply, like others have, I will wait two weeks to find out that she never received my application. She is a liar. What should I do? My seven year old is so sad. She loves the pool, and asks me everyday "Can we go to the pool today?"

My puppy seems weak and just sleeps?

He is a Husky, 5 weeks old. We took him to the vet 3 days ago (Sunday) because he had diharrea and a dislocated arm (we do not know how it happened, we left him alone for about an hour while we went to M.) The vet said he had a lot of bacteria in his stomach, and that his throat was sore. The vet gave him a shot for pain, and a shot for dehidration. She also gave us an antibiotic and medicine for the diharrea. We gave our puppy Pedialyte, I believe is the name, and Gerber (baby food which the vet recomended.) We thought he was getting better, but we took him again today (Wednesday) because he seemed weak to us, and since about 6 of last night, all he does is sleep. The vet told us that he had a fever, and to suspend the medicine for the diharrea. She gave him another shot to lower the temp., and gave us a nutritional suplement since our puppy eats very little. He is now soft of asleep, but he keeps crying ): help please!!

a fusible link works the same way that a fuse does, when it gets too much current through it, it over heats and brakes the circuit. i think that in your situation, you have a problem with the ring gear. that is the flex-plate between the torque converter and the engine or the fly wheel and trans if so equipped. if you hear the starter spin and the engine does not crank, then try to turn the engine over with a wrench in the crank bolt. it should not take much to tell if you can turn it or not. if it does crank, then double check the cables them selves to the relay and to the starter, along with the ground wire.

So after applying your mixed moisturizer and foundation, apply tiny bit of loose powder or take a tissue and remove excess oil/make up by slightly dabbing. Then apply small amount of concealer, mascare, non shimmery lip gloss and peachy bronzer on cheeks.

I won't lie to you it's sore after but before you panic it probably won't be as bad as you imagine I can only tell you about my experience you might find it different but my mobility was obviously reduced it is after all major abdominal surgery it hurt to cough,laugh and going to the toilet was awful (doing a number 2) I think it was about 2 weeks before I started to feel normal you should have support at home as you will be limited to what you can do with exception to looking after baby I still did almost everything for mine when they were born recovery time is said to be about 6 weeks if you drive you should check with your insurance company as you can't drive for I think it's up to 12 weeks after but this will probably vary with companies and your recovery time but the best advise I can really give you is don't worry if you have to have a c-section it's not as bad as you may think good luck and best wishes

Wow, I wouldn't have chosen either breed to be good with children, they are delicate breeds. I would think you are going to need an irresponsible breeder to sell you a dog like one of these breeds if you have children since they are delicate breeds and kids could hug them to death or break the dogs leg. A responsible breeder will not sell you one of these breeds if you have kids. All breeds of dogs bark, bite, and jump on kids, all breeds of dogs are afraid of kids, you have to train all breeds of dogs to behave. Your question is hard because all breeds bite, bark and jump, you are the one that has to train them not to. I guess it depends on your ability to train dogs, I would think the maltese would be an easier breed to train, but both are breeds that are ranked hard to train. I vote for more research, maybe ask your vet to recommend a breed that would be better for your family.

Silverado has reduced power, rough idle, and sputters?

Its almost as if its running out of gas... and has been for 1000 miles. When I press on the accelerator the rpms increase, stutters for a second, increase again, stutters. Its driveable, but obviously something is wrong. I figured I had some bad gas, but I've gone through 20 tanks full. A mechanic told me with a 2004 1500 5.3L Silverado the fuel filter is not likely to blame. I have new spark plugs. Any suggestions of where to begin?

I'm scared. I think I may have been healed?

This is no shyte. Thank god for an anonymous site like this. I can't dare repeat this to anyone. I'm 33 now, but when I was a kid I had really really bad eczema all over my hands, elbows and knees. One night I got bored and decided to watch Benny Hinn. I was about 16 at the time. At the end of his show he always claims that a dozen or so people have been healed. During this process he looked at the screen and said "Someone with eczema has just been healed". Low and behold I look at my skin and my eczema is gone. It was as if I'd never had it. Keep in mind that I had prescription cream for this stuff. I got scared and turned the TV off. My mom noticed about a week later and freaked out. I told her that my eczema just went away. She said there is no cure for eczema and it doesn't just go away. So I told her the Benny Hinn story and she freaked out and proceeded to embarr the living shyte out of me by announcing this miracle in church that Sunday. Since then I've become an atheist, yet almost 20 years later, still no eczema. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel about this. I've always claimed that I needed proof to believe in god. What if this was his proof? I don't want to be a christian though because I don't believe in most of the stuff in the bible. The stuff about gay people especially. I'm not gay, but I have no problem with them. What if the bible got it wrong and the god that watches over us isn't the god described in the bible? B wanting to expand and improve range.?

I can understand your frustration. I started singing in choir this year and I had absolutely no head voice. I even had troubles singing middle C, and yet my lowest comfortable note is a low F (I can go down to E, but I don't like it since it makes my voice feel sore). The choir director seems to think I have this amazing low range (Soprano mentality I guess. LOL.) and I had no upper range that she placed me as a B 2. And it really drives me nuts too, considering I want to be in musical theatre (and in my personal opinion the low b line sounds very unattractive). But now I have had some training and I can go up in the area of high F. Two important things that helped me: Don't be afraid of the higher notes (they will come to you if you relax) and watch your breathing and make sure you are singing from your diaphragm. If you do these things and practice, your range will increase (as will the tone of your high notes).

Why cant i cry anymore?

I've been published for scientific articles, but compared to your effort mine was a piece of cake. Your work needs a champion. That could be a publisher willing to take a chance on you, an investor, or yourself. The fact that your publisher wants to charge you....is a red flag. An investor may be found if you happen to stumble onto somebody with lots of money that reads your book and thinks it is a gold mine. That might be kind of a long shot, even if you write a very good book. You being the champion is probably your best bet....look for places to publish excerpts of your writing. Submit the book to some type of competition--a google search should identify something. Maybe you can self-publish a few chapters at a time and place them on racks at grocery stores...kind of comic book style.

i love your idea of a future goals one. try using a series of boxes (flat ones) that all fit into one larger box. each flat one will hold a specific goal. for example, add clippings/photos/maps to a place you want to go to or a concert, country etc. each flat box should also have a stamp on it that shows the present date, the goal date you plan to achieve this and a big star if you actually achieved it with additions from the place you visited. the larger box can be sort of a rotating time capsule that you can continually add to. if you glue and fix all your stuff onto each flat box, you can actually open each one and display them sort of like a large display case. have fun

Why can't I adjust the flapper on my toilet so it flushes correctly?

Ok, so my husband and I just bought a house. The upstairs toilet always had a little trickle to it. We replaced the flapper and the trickle stopped. Problem is, no matter how I adjust the chain, it will not flush right. If the chain is too long, you have to hold it down for it to flush, and when I shorten it, it will flush, but the tank NEVER completely empties, and then the flapper won't seal all the way. I have tried every length imaginable on this chain and I don't know what else to do. Any ideas?

Help with 6 month old GSD puppy seperation anxiety?

He is the sweetest dog I have ever had, loves everybody, even complete strangers, perfectly obedient, smart, goofy, and when we're at home, quiet as could be. But when my fiance and I put him in his crate to run to the store or whatever else, he FREAKS OUT. We've been crate training since we brought him home at 10 weeks and yet he still doesn't seem to get it. We've tried excercising him till he's completely worn out and then putting him in his crate right before we leave but it doesn't matter. When we get home, he's still barking and crying like crazy. We've tried leaving the radio on, giving him a toy he's only allowed to play with when he's in the crate, leaving clothes or blankets in their with our scent, giving him a toy that dispenses treats as he plays with it...nothing. Absolutely nothing. And on top of that we can't leave him home outside of the crate or he becomes the most destructive tornado of a dog. The most he ever gets left in there is a few hours, and aside from that we're with him ALL the time. But it's like jeckyl and hyde. Perfect when we're around, psychotic when we're gone. We've even tried doggy obedience cles. It's like NOTHING is working. Yahoo answers is my last chance before I resign the poor dog to bark himself hoarse every time we go somewhere. Any ideas?

Seizing Dog please please help?

My 11 year old mixed breed had a seizure last night that lasted about a minute. We rushed her to the emergency vet and had bloodwork done and also an xray. The bloodwork showed her sugar to be fine and a little anemic. They couldn't find any internal bleeding. I am watching her gums and they're ok. This morning she seized again for about 30 seconds. They said if she seizes again we'll have to hospitalize her and get a CT test done but I'm not sure I can afford it. Please tell me what might be wrong and what to watch out for? Since she's already 13 and still speaks with the lisp, its highly likely that she'll have it (to some degree) for the rest of her life. If she's not willing to take the speech therapy cl, then she'll just have to learn to live with her lisp. One of the other. She's old enough to decide that on her own. Personally, if it were me, I'd talk to her about it and just tell her point blank that she either tries to do something about it or learn to embrace it. A couple years ago, I purchased a kit to convert a pickup to use propane for fuel. It's sat in the shop ever since. But now, my pickup is broke down with carburetor problems and I have had the worst luck in getting another one put on there that works and getting it put on there correctly. I am not a mechanic, and carburetors completely mystify me. And apparently they seem to mystify most of the people I know that claim to know how to work on this stuff. I am wondering if I would be better off finding someone to convert it to using propane. Would it be more economical? Would the engine suffer more/less wear and tear? Basically I'm looking for the pros and cons to this situation. The pickup is a 1980 F100 with an in-line six cylinder 300. It's got a 3-speed transmission, originally on the column, now through the floor. The original carburetor on it was a one-barrel carburetor, either a Carter or Motorcraft, I'm not sure. I am currently taking Lexapro with a combination of other drugs for complications from West Nile encephalitis. The problem is Lexapro cost $40 a month. When added with the cost of the other medications, therapy and bi-monthly visits to a West Nile specialist, $40 is a lot. I need a less expensive version of this medication that will have the same effects. By the way, it is mosquito season...wear protection. West Nile sucks. I was infected in November 2006. I live in southern MS and mosquitoes are bad most of the year. Being 29 at the time, literally saved my life. I have suffered but not nearly as bad as many others that have been struck with this virus. Please be careful.
