Is it true that in order to live life to the fullest and sincerely , we have to discover some truth?

But not many ppl know the truth cos the truth is very strange. It requires you to do lots of soul-searching,introspection, just mainly lots of thinking to embrace this strangeness. I mean there must be some underlying truth about the purpose of our existence. There must be a reason why we are born into this world which is only temporary and when we leave this world, there really is nothing tangible that we can bring to spend our eternal lives in the hereafter?
