Eating out in Brighton??? Any one able to suggest a nice restaurant in Brighton Town Centre this Saturday?

Im taking my girlfriend to Brighton this weekend and wondered if anyone could recommend a nice restaurant. Nothing too fancy... but don't want to end up somewhere like a Beefeater either. Preferably somehwere not too far from the Pier or Town centre... thank you.
