Baby scare..?

at my ultrasound today the doctor noticed that the way my baby is positioned her umbilical cord might strangle her during delivery.im 32 weeks and shes my first so i have no clue what to expect...he said i might want to start thinking of having a c.section-something i really didnt want to do..has anyone else had this experience
