What to hipsters do for work?

Do they have day jobs? They can't all have creative careers. Can they? I mean every one of them cant be talented: drawing, music, writing poetry, graphic design, creating 3-d art using recycled materials. Or, make good money using their talents. Not everyone that is good at art will make enouth $ to live off of. I feel like they get money from their parents. Or work crap jobs and have roomates. Please be specific. Specific examplea a plus.
