Does anyone know where I can find an FAQ on the national guard/reserves enlistment process?

What I want to know is: 1) Is it the same as signing up for active duty?, 2) When you leave for basic, who takes you? 3) When you finish basic training, how do you get home, since you are not "active", 4) Do you get the same respect from active duty servicepeople 5) Lastly, how much advance notice you get before you are deployed?
