Compounds which give ions when dissolved in water will form conductive solutions. a) and c) are ionic compounds which are expected to dissociate to ions; b) is a weak acid which will give low concentrations of H+ and F-; d) is a weak base which will give low concentrations of NH4+ and OH-. But e) is a covalent organic compound lacking appreciable acid-base properties, and, likewise, adding it to water is not expected to raise the conductivity appreciably.
